Time-lapse Video
The camera at Sandy Bay now makes time-lapse videos! A new one will be
uploaded every night around 15 minutes after sunset and will appear
alongside the photos at the bottom of the page.
This page contains the first few videos that were uploaded before the 27th
of November when this website was upgraded to display them. You can always
see the video for yesterday or any other day by navigating to the page for
that day using the links at the top of this page.
These videos were created with the prototype software. They were encoded
and loaded into the system manually. The first video was encoded at a higher
quality while the rest were at a default extra low setting.

These videos were all created and uploaded automatically. The encoder is set
to keep the videos at around 6MB each as the internet at Sandy Bay is fairly
expensive.
